Quarterly Ratings

Posted today are the Quarter 43 Performance Profile results for PC and Mac desktops, notebooks, and workstations. Any technology refreshment or Attachment R proposal activity conducted on or after this date for these platforms must meet the performance standards contained in the appropriate tables.

Benchmarks

For Quarter 43 Alterion has transitioned its Acceptable Level of Performance benchmarks (ALP) for Apple systems to version 10.5 of the Apple OS (Leopard). The ALP Mac 1.8 benchmarks include Microsoft Excel for OS X, SPEC’s viewperf v8.1, X-Bench v1.3, and GeekBench v2.0.9 (The GeekBench test operates in 32-bit mode for notebooks and 64-bit mode for desktops/workstations).

Attachment R Certification deadline

Certification submissions must be received by Alterion no later than July 1, 2009.
